The development of the toolkit was initiated and coordinated by the Netherlands Patients Federation. The original content of the DataSaveLives toolkit was adjusted in collaboration with the VSOP- Patient Alliance for Rare and Genetic Diseases, The Dutch Parkinson Association (Parkinson Vereniging) and The National Association of Informal Caregivers (MantelzorgNL).  The development of the toolkit has been made possible by financial support of  the Dutch Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport.
